Recovery Center Tijuana is not only an Ibogaine Clinic, it is a 30 day Residential Treatment Program for Addicts. It is not only centered around the 12 steps and 12 traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous as many other programs are, but it gives flexibility for clients to create their own programs of recovery by maintaining a drug free and alcohol free environment, while providing routines that are flexible such that the client can be responsible for his or her own maintenance of recovery.
The client gets to choose his own drug free living path. He may dabble in art, interact in groups with other guests who are there at the same time. Not everyone may be there for drugs and alcohol, so there is an opportunity to explore plant based medicines to help in the healing processes such as 5MEO-DMT, also known as Bufo and Ayahuasca. These plant based medicines are known to help with depression and anxiety which many addicts and alcoholics suffer from.
Ibogaine is a plant medicine from Africa which helps cesate 80% of withdrawals from heroin addiction and opiate addiction. It is administered and guided by a medical team involving an MD and a paramedic along with EMTs. Ibogaine assuages Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms from people going through up to 10 days of gnarly symptoms including: sweats, hot flashes, vomiting and diarrhea. As withdrawal symptoms for opiate withdrawals present really similar to those withdrawing from intense alcohol abuse, ibogaine is also very helpful for Delerium Tremens or DTs. If you or a loved one suffers from Alcohol abuse, research more about Ibogaine and give us call at: +52 664 517 4099 Ask for Carlos. (While these blog posts were written by Lily Kotila, and she worked at Ibogaine facilities for years, she is currently not working with any Ibogaine facility).
